A striking and vibrant caravan bar is something that you cannot miss while passing by Baga creek and it looks so beautiful from the outside that you would be surely intrigued to give it a closer look and visit this amazing place called Toro Toro.

Typically a tropical café and bar, offering serene views of the Baga creek, as you would move further inside the restaurant, you would witness Flamingos, coconut trees, pineapples, and martini glasses adorning the walls, as well as palm tree motifs that complement the tropical ambience.

Over the years I have only seen this place getting better and better. One of my personal favourites for sure, both the vibe and the food of the place have kept me hooked.

Just recently I got to know about their newly launched breakfast menu and I just had to visit.

The breakfast menu is available from 9 AM onwards and is available till about noon, post which you can obviously dig into their al-a-carte menu.

With its quaint and tranquil vibes during the morning and day, it serves as a perfect place to have a hearty breakfast. Whether you are a tourist staying in the close vicinity or a local foodie who loves indulging in good food, Toro Toro is your place to be.The breakfast menu in particular has the morning essentials and also some amazing platters that you can relish. For meat lovers and health-conscious people, the menu caters to both the needs alike. Also, it has a balanced selection of Indian, Continental and Goan cuisines to choose from.

I opted for the Goan Breakfast Platter which comes in 3 variations with Sorpotel, Beef Chilly and Chorizos, served with fried eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausages and poie. I tried the Beef Chilly one and it was indeed the best breakfast meal I had in a long time.

Apart from the breakfast menu, we also tried some dishes from the al-a-carte menu and my top recommendations include:

👉🏻Italian Chicken Bites which were delicious
👉🏻Chilly n Coconut Crumbed Prawns
👉🏻Pan Fried House Fish Fillet, a must-try for sure, the fish was perfectly cooked and the lemon caper sauce was awesome
👉🏻Cottage Cheese in Xinghan Hot N Sour Sauce, a beautiful dish for vegetarians

To end the meal on a sweet note, don’t forget to try their delectable chocolate mousse and bebinca. Toro Toro is certainly the kind of place where I would go back on some days with my laptop and just chill as I work with a beer or cup of coffee and on some days with a big appetite to gorge on the delicious food, for other days they have live music. So what are you gonna visit them for?
