QMIN, The Food Delivery Platform of IHCL Joins The Carnival Festivities in Goa

Goa’s rich and vibrant lifestyle has just upped a notch with the arrival of the carnival season. A Portuguese relic, that marks the days before the month of Lent, is observed by the Goan Catholics as a season of abstinence and prayer. From February 26 to March Goa celebrates its annual ‘Carnaval’ or carnival.

Qmin, the gourmet culinary and food delivery platform from Indian Hotels Company(IHCL) commenced the Carnival festivities in the capital city with a traditional float parade from Taj Resort & Convention Centre in Dona Paula beach, the elegant coastline with a silvery burnish hue to Samba Square in the heart of Panaji. 

The Capital city of Panaji is ornated with the influx of colourful procession of dancers in decorated costumes, cheerful bustling melody and vibrantly decked performances led by the Qmin Food Truck.

With float parades, music, dance and culinary delights, over the decades, the high-spirited celebration has been an eagerly awaited annual event showcasing Goa’s larger than life culture. 

Speaking on the initiative, Mr Vincent Ramos, Area Director – IHCL, Goa who is also a part of the Panaji Carnival organizing committee said, “IHCL, Goa has always been synonymous with the cultures and traditions of Goa. We are glad to be celebrating one of the most coveted festivals with our fellow Goenkars. In the spirit of festivity, Qmin – our food delivery platform will be participating in the culinary extravaganza. The menu is priced at an extremely affordable range to celebrate the efforts of the city.”

Packed with a mix of cuisine, the menu here offers a blend of comfort food and signature preparations including the soft in texture with a mild zing Chicken Cafreal Poie Pocket, lacy and delicious Beef Patties, plump and punchy in flavour is Goan Sausage Roll along with delicate and spectacular Masala Vada Pav are few such dishes that are worth the calories consumed. 

The food truck will extend its services at the Samba Square from 26th February to 1 st March, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. So, don’t miss the opportunity and drag your loved ones too for a memorable episode. Qmin also delivers a repertoire of culinary experiences using the highest quality of ingredients with the delivery executives adhering to stringent protocols of safety and hygiene, keeping it completely contactless and wearing proper protective gear with an enhanced focus on maintaining the protocols.
