IHCL Organises Quiz to Emphasise on Food & Safety Hygiene

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) in Goa recently organised an Inter-Hotel Food Safety Quiz with a total participation of 18 associates representing Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Cidade de Goa – IHCL SeleQtions and Vivanta Goa, Panaji.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr Vincent Ramos, Area Director – IHCL, Goa and General Manager – Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Goa and Mr Anmol Ahluwalia, General Manager – Taj, North Goa.

Ms Jyoti Sardessai – Director FDA and Commissioner FSSAI, Goa addressed the gathering and shared her views on the importance of eating right and congratulated the management of IHCL, Goa for having sensitised they’re associates with regards to food safety.

Mr Richard Noronha – Designated Officer with the Govt. of Goa at the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration further educated the gathering on the benefits of choosing wisely and opting for a healthier living.

Each participant was presented with lapel pins of ‘Eat Right India’, an initiative led by FSSAI which aims to engage, excite and enable citizens to improve their health and well-being and ‘The Pink Book’, a guide for safe and nutritious food at home.
